Ambos equipos estuvieron parejos en el fundamento del ataque (60-54), sin embargo las dirigidas por Antonio Rizola llevaron ventaja en bloqueo (13-5) y servicio (4-1). El sexteto ganador redujo a 17 sus errores no forzados, mientras que Puerto Rico registró 24.
