La selección peruana derrotó a la República del Congo por 3 – 0 en la segunda jornada del Mundial U18 de Egipto, luego del traspié en el partido de debut ante Bulgaria.

Perú tuvo complicaciones en los primeros dos parciales. El conjunto dirigido por Natalia Málaga no encontraba contundencia en ataque ni seguridad en defensa. El Congo supo aprovechar y conseguir complicar en algunos paisajes del ‘match’, pero le buen trabajo de Yadhira Anchante y Lizanyela López pudo aportar par ganar los sets por 25 – 21 y 25 – 14.

El seleccionado nacional consiguió confianza y ajustó las piezas desde la charla técnica. En este tercer set, Camila Pérez fue un elemento clave para hacer relucir el buen juego peruano. Además del buen despliegue ofensivo de Antuanette Arteaga, Alondra Alarcón y Lizanyela López, para cerrar el encuentro (25 – 10) con un buen triunfo nacional.

El próximo encuentro del conjunto peruano U18 será mañana (07 septiembre) a las 8:00 a.m. ante el conjunto de Turquía.
